Who are you :
My real name is Truc Duyen. I’m a student of HCMUFA (Ho Chi Minh City University Of Fine Arts), specializes in Graphic Design. I love drawing, reading, and illustration that makes ideas in my mind become visible.

Your current job :
Now I’m working as a freelance illustrator and trying to make 7 illustration books for the Bible.

A word to define what kind of worker you are :
Enthusiasm – I can do nothing without it.

What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)
My laptop, graphics tablet, papers and pencils.


What does your office space look like?
I like a well-ventilated and full of light workplace. It makes me feel comfortable.


What kind of music do you listen when you are working ?
Soundtracks of my favorite movies for assignments, and Epic music for jobs. Sometimes, I can make a story by combining songs together.


Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work ?
I make a “things to do” list, and try my best to follow it.


What tips would you give to improve productivity ?
I always looking for a reason for my works and think about it when I am tired.


You’re better than your colleagues to :
Hard- working, funny, sensitive, and always have a reason before starting any project, not only because “I like it”.

What is the best advice anyone has given you ?
“We only live one time, live positively!”- said Kei Nguyen, my teacher.

What is your best tip for saving time ?
Get enough sleep. I think naps are the most important, it’s good for your brain. Sleep well, work well.


What is your routine start and end of the day ?
I get up and check my Facebook notifications, then go to the college. At the end of day, I usually read books or manga before sleeping.

Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without ?
