Fine art photographer, I sell my work through galleries here in New Zealand and throughout Europe.

Rural North Auckland

Prolific

What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)
Photoshop and Lightroom

What does your office space look like?
Small and full – it’s a cupboard space in my kitchen.

What kind of music do you listen when you are working ?
I listen to Pandora; I listen to a range of different stations depending on what I am working on. Otherwise I listen to a lot of podcasts.

Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work ?
I drop my kids off to school and work furiously for the 6 or so hours I have until it is time to collect them again.

What tips would you give to improve productivity ?
Do not connect to the internet…

What is the best advice anyone has given you ?
Keep showing up – even when you feel there are no new ideas or that you are stuck on something; just keep showing up.

What is your best tip for saving time ?
Multitasking

What is your routine start and end of the day ?
Long walk with my lovely big Deerhound at either end of my work day.

Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without?
Aside from my camera gear it would have to be my iPad.
