Who are you :
My name is Azul Piñeiro. I´m Multimedia designer graduated of Buenos Aires University. I love movies, illustrated books and anime. All of this inspires me at the time to work.
Your current job :
I work as a freelance illustrator focusing in children stuff and also as video editor in a film school for kids.

A word to define what kind of worker you are :
Hard-worker, sometimes obsessive.
What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)
In first place pencil and paper. And music. Then I work with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop as well.
What does your office space look like?
It’s a colorful place, not so wide but neither small. A bit improvised. Surrounded by character figures and images of things that inspire and motivate myself.
What kind of music do you listen when you are working ?
Mostly J-POP. Soundtracks and fun music.
Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work ?
One requirement at the time to start to work, is don’t interrupt the set schedule until the goal it’s finished. That’s why I prefer to start to work at afternoon and take advantage at morning to answer mails, make calls and personal formalities.
What tips would you give to improve productivity ?
To think in the finished product motivates me a lot, that way I have a sense of committed since the beginning.
You’re better than your colleagues to :
I’m very disciplined and I always try to implicate myself in work. Either because it reflects a personal interest or sometimes thanks to a research.
What is the best advice anyone has given you ?
He didn’t told it to me, but Arthur Freed said: “Don’t try to be different. Just be good. To be good is different enough.”
What is your best tip for saving time ?
Sleep well, doesn’t matter until what time you work after.
What is your routine start and end of the day ?
Answer mails, check social networks, watch an episode of my favorite tv serie, start to work. Before sleep time, a movie, manga or a book.
Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go ?
My sketchbook, my iPod.
