Sarah Gosevitz Illustration and Design. I freelance and am currently developing my first fashion line project.
In which city are you located?
A word to define what kind of worker you are:
What tools are essential to your life? (app, software, etc..)
Mac computer, Adobe Creative Suite, scanner, iPhone, pen and paper.
What does your office space look like?
I live and work in a great loft space with lots of light. My computer set up is next to windows surrounded by bulletin boards covered with inspirational tear sheets. I also have a den with a big drafting table and book shelves filled with design and art books.
What kind of music do you listen to when you are working?
It all depends on what I am working on and what mood I am in. Jazz, rap, hip-hop, rock, pop, alternative, electronica. Often I work in silence when I really need to concentrate.
Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work?
I make a check list of all the things that need to be accomplished the night before. Work back schedules are a huge help. It keeps your work progress and deadlines in check.
What tips would you give to improve productivity?
Make sure to take breaks. Go for a walk, run. Inject exercise. This helps you to really focus when you are working. Your body and brain need the balance.

What is the best advice anyone has given you?
Life is a process and a journey. Enjoy the ride!
What is your best tip for saving time?
Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Problem solving can take hours. Ask a friend or an expert.
What is your routine start and end of the day?
I begin my day with a cup of coffee and sitting at my computer going through my emails. Then I start my plan of attack for the day! End of the day varies. I may have a social commitment or exercise activity. I am a bit of a night owl so I also tend to stay up late at times working.
Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not go without?
My external hard drive. Back-up of all my work.
