Who are you :

I’m Tiina, photographer from northern Finland.

Your current job :

I’m shooting a city nature time lapse material for an upcoming TV documentary.

In which city are you located?

I’m officially living at Oulu, but I’m traveling most of the year across Finland.

A word to define what kind of worker you are :

Well, I’v been working different jobs beside photography …I’m generally a very liked person and I’m very easy going everybody.

When I’m doing photography, I always give my 100%. I like to do what inspires me.

What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)

Computer + light room, photoshop. When i’m on the move is Leatherman and in the woods I bring a forest knife, matches or other fire making accessories and a compass. I also use Garmin GPS device as you can’t trust mobile phones 100%

What does your office space look like?

I don’t have an office, I have been on the road for the past 5 years. At the moment I’m staying in a old house, while visiting my sister and staying what used to be a kids room.

What kind of music do you listen when you are working ?

Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work ?

Not really, as I have been shooting mostly landscapes it’s more about reading the weather / nature than tight timetables.

What tips would you give to improve productivity ?

Hmm… Try to minimise all kind of unnecessary things from your life… simplify things, even it’s not always easy.

You’re better than your colleagues to :

I dont like to think who is better ‘cos everybody has different skills. I think I’m good at seeing the bigger picture and i’m very good at organizing things.

What is the best advice anyone has given you ?

Be yourself.

What is your best tip for saving time ?

My life is kind of on state of ongoing flow without any routines, so it’s kind of had to talk about it.. but I think sleeping well is very important, when you lack sleep you will be tired and you can’t get things done.
