Who are you :
My name is Veronika Vajdova, also known as Weroni.
Your current job :
3D animation & visualisation student and freelance artist
In which city are you located?
A word to define what kind of worker you are :
What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)
Lately mostly Photoshop and my Wacom tablet, but it all started with my obsession with watercolors and brushes.
What does your office space look like?
My office is anywhere and everywhere I feel comfortable creating, be it my flat or lovely streets of Glasgow full of art galleries and musicians.
What kind of music do you listen when you are working ?
It depends on what kind of a feeling am I trying to express via my art, but my absolute favorites that always fire up my imagination are The Knife, Son Lux, Alt-J
Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work ?
I do keep a bullet journal but I would say that having more freedom and taking small breaks always help me produce better (and faster) results.
What tips would you give to improve productivity ?
Find a place you feel comfortable in, but not too comfortable (you don’t want to fall asleep in your bed). Take some time to brainstorm, but not too much, even if you feel that the wall is too tall to get through, remember it’s still made of smaller bricks.
You're better than your colleagues to :
quote fantasy and sci-fi movies
What is the best advice anyone has given you ?
Everybody has to fail sometimes, try not to get overwhelmed by it, learn from it as much as you can and move on.
What is your best tip for saving time ?
Change your mindset from “Why can’t I do that?” into “How can I do that?” and start working. You may be pleasantly surprised by how far you can get when you stop overthinking the problem and procrastinating.
What is your routine start and end of the day ?
I like to start my day with coffee and finish it with nice cup of tea and a good book.
Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not go without?
My Wacom tablet
