BC Craft Beer Month 2016 x BARON
Products:
Barstool Biter – Ordinary Bitter : ABV: 3.9% & IBU – 27This traditional English working class pub beer is meant to be enjoyed from the barstool all night, while still letting you walk home. It’s light on alcohol at 3.9%, but has a rich caramel and biscuit flavour paired with earthy and floral hop notes. Ordinary Bitters are so named as they’re more bitter than a Mild, but are very light to modern palettes.
Gringa Loca – Witbier : ABV: 6.5% & IBU: 23
Pussy Cat Blonde – Pilsner : ABV: 5.5% & IBU 27 – Somewhere between a traditional Czech Pilsner and a Premium American Lager, this special release entwines bready sweetness with floral and citrusy hop flavour for a refreshing and drinkable patio beer.
Green Eyes White – I.P.A.: ABV: 5.5% & IBU: 73 – Brewed for the ardent hophead, but balanced with a strong malt backbone to make it accessible to everyone. Juicy citrus and tropical fruit notes predominate supported by sweet caramel and a sharp bitterness.
Hairy Donut – Irish Amber Ale: ABV: 5.0% & IBU: 27 – Toffee flavour fades into herbal and floral hop flavour. Sweet but refreshing, perfect for drinking by the campfire or on the patio with friends. A definite crowd pleaser which proves to be an easy migration from corporate to craft beer.
Cafe Morena – English Brown Ale : ABV: 5.0% & IBU 27 – Rich coffee flavour predominates over a sweet, creamy and contemplative finish. Low in carbonation, as is traditional in an English brown, it pours with a cappuccino toned head that doesn’t linger.
Black Mamba – Milk Stout : ABV: 5.0% & IBU: 27
Ay Caramba! – Jalapeño IPA : ABV: 5.5% & IBU 70 – Starts with the aroma and flavour of freshly chopped jalapeños with a sweet caramel background, which fades into a warming, spicy kick that will spread through your chest. Best enjoyed with salty barbecue or Mexican food.
Pride – Berliner Weiss : ABV: 3.6% & IBU: 0 – Tart and refreshing, with a big lemon flavour and and a crisp finish. Perfect for whiling away a summer day on it’s own, or with a shot of fruit syrup. Part proceeds go to an LGBT cause in BC.
Wind and Sea – Pale Ale : ABV: 5.0% & IBU – 33A bright, tropical aroma with a citrus background gives way to a smooth mouthfeel with just a slight bitter kick at the end. This beer will get your senses going.
