Can you give us a tour of your beer scene?
Sixpoint was the first production craft brewery to start and succeed in NYC since Prohibition. We did this back in 2004. After a slow trickle, the floodgates have opened and now the scene is thriving with many craft breweries, with all five boroughs represented.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start a brewery?
Homebrew like mad, take rigorous notes and don’t do it unless you’re genuinely passionate about it. Tough sledding ahead!
