What does your office space look like? 

 I’m an accountant so tidy and organized

4500 HL

The reason you started brewing? 

 My husband’s dream

What was the inspiration behind your brewery? 

Building we purchased was a foundry – early industrial about 1900. The beers brewed are what you would have drank in early 1900  

What are the biggest challenges for you as a brewer in Ontario? 

Sales venues and marketing

What kind of music do you listen to when you are working? 

Anything from our tap room – prefer classical

Do you have a way to organize your days to optimize your work? 

I try to stay focuses and follow a daily plan On Sunday evenings I plan out my week

What tips would you give to improve productivity? 

Stay organized and focus on most important/ urgent tasks If it’s not completed today carry it forward for tomorrow – I use a daily organized/ to do program

What is the best advice anyone has given you? 

There is always a reason why something happened even if it’s not evident today

What is your routine start and end of the day? 

About 5 am and end about 9 pm

Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without?

 Nothing else – I try to escape to our farm where I raise welsh and German sport ponies

Plowman’s Ale, Beam Me Up scotch ale, Mill Race Dark

What advice would you give to someone who wants to start a brewery?

 Have lots of money
