Who are you?
My name is Solange Ackermann, I am half Peruvian middle Uruguayan. I lived in my mother’s country in Peru for many years, and today I live in Uruguay, my father’s country. I’m a graphic designer. I finished my graphic design studies at the National School of Fine Arts, and I am currently researching in the world of ceramics

Optimistic
What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)
Pencil, paper, color pencils, collage, PC, Adobe toolset, clay, enamels, etc. I like to constantly research and learn new tools and technics.
What kind of music do you listen when you are working?
Instrumental, Indie, Peruvian folklore, it depends on what kind of work I’m doing.
Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work?
Yes, I have an agenda in my computer where I organize for work assignments and deadlines.
What tips would you give to improve productivity?
Organize and take the most advantage of the time you have.
You’re better than your colleagues to:
Nobody is better or worse, I think everybody has a unique way of expressing thyself and that alone is a beautiful thing.
What is the best advice anyone has given you?
Don´t loose faith.
What is your routine start and end of the day?
Every day is different, but usually, in the morning I like to prepare myself a good breakfast including fresh vegetable and fruit juice, walk by Montevideo’s emblematic Ramblas, get back home to work and then go to ceramic classes. Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without?
I always take with me my flash drive, camera, graphic tablet and two apps that I recommend: Adobe Capture and Pantone Studio or MyPantone.
