I'm Laura Díez, a graphic designer and illustrator, passionate about details, fashion and the subtlety of life :)

Your current job:

I work as a creative director in a digital content agency, designing books, social media strategies and all kinds of graphic pieces, and I also spend my time working as a freelance illustrator.

What city are you?

I'm from Medellín, Colombia and I am currently in the same city.

Proactive

Which tools are essential for your life (application, software, etc.)

For me, iMac, Wacom, and notebook for sketching are essential ... Photoshop and Illustrator are the basis of everything, but I'm a fan of working whit Ipad Pro, in Procreate.

How is your office space?

My workspace is ordered most of the time! with many pencils and colors ... and something to drink!

What kind of music do you listen to when you are working?

Most of the time alternative rock and trap.

Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work?

Yes, every day I do a checklist with my tasks ... the day doesn't end until the checklist is complete.

What advice would you give to improve productivity?

Always focus on what you want to achieve each day, have real deadlines and prioritize your tasks.

What is the best advice that someone has given you?

Don't compare your work with anyone's, focus on what you do, in your style and improve it every day.

What is your best advice to save time?

Be clear about what you want to do or achieve before you sit down to work.

What is your starting and ending routine for the day?

The first thing I do is have breakfast, drink a cup of coffee while I see a moment Pinterest or Instagram ... and in the end, I try to dedicate time to myself... read or watch Netflix.

Apart from your computer and your phone, what gadget cannot do without?

In Medellín, there are many nice places to buy, but I think Via Primavera and Provenza are the best places, if you want to find many local design brands.

Grocery store

The farmers' markets are very nice, they make them every weekend in different parts of the city, and you find fresh and delicious food.
