Published by Leonardo Calcagno

Who are you :
I’m Tetiana Donska, during the years of 5-6 I realized what it’s like to be a visual person who understands the world better through images and colors. And everything changed..

Your current job :
I work as a multidisciplinary designer and art-director at Ester Digital – Estonian based design agency. Also, I leave my passion for graphic design, I like experimenting with typography, making posters and sometimes weird illustrations.

In which city are you located?
I’m changing my location from time to time. But for now, there are two main stations: Tallinn and Lviv.

A word to define what kind of worker you are :

Can’t stop!

What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)

The list is predictable: Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, pen and paper, Wacom tablet, keyboard, headphones

What does your office space look like?

Spacious rooms with pastel walls, lots of weird posters from Berlin, plants (some of them are growing insanely fast), also there is a zebra carpet in the meeting room which I like the most.

What kind of music do you listen to when you are working?

Sometimes I don’t even notice what music is playing now till my colleagues say that it’s unbearable to listen. Here are some of my favorites: Solstafir, Kanye West, Depeche Mode, Burial, Massive Attack. And those are for more extreme days: God is an Astronaut, Snow in Mexico, the latest album of Thom Yorke.

Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work?
I do! I prefer to have meetings either in the morning or in the evening, that really helps me to be concentrated during the day. Also, there are plenty of other methods, like making lists and using Trello, etc.

What tips would you give to improve productivity?

Nothing more increases my productivity than exciting projects, motivated colleagues with shining eyes and of course, caffeine.

You’re better than your colleagues to :

oh…You better ask me about my colleagues – they are super talented.

What is the best advice anyone has given you?

Don’t compare yourself with others. Say ‘Hi’ and smile to the Sun every morning.

What is your best tip for saving time?

Prioritize and talk to your colleagues. Ask questions!

What is your routine start and end of the day?

Say ‘Hi’ and smile to the Sun. Quickly drink as much coffee as I can and listen to some podcasts. My end of the day routine consists of finishing up some work, reading books, watching memes and spending time with my boyfriend.

Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without?
Definitely, it’s headphones! ||
