How long have you been brewing beer and what are the core values of your brewery?
Our brewery has been getting good beer to good people since September 2015.
Creating innovative, quality, flavourful craft beer
Using the best ingredients; using local ingredients
Supporting the places we live in and the people that live there
What are the main types of beer you brew?
We brew a breadth of beers and are not known for one particular style. Sours, IPA’s, Lagers, Barrel-aged, Mixed Ferement, and other styles.
What makes your beer unique?
We like to think that all of our beers, no matter which style, are top-notch, unique, and balanced. We like to experiment with local ingredients and, being located in the heart of world-class barley crops, we like to brag about that too. We’ve won the most awards at both the Canadian Brewing Awards and the Canada Beer Cup in 2023 along with Brewery of the Year from the Brewers Choice Awards and Best of Show with our Dwarf Sour Cherry Saison in the Canadian Brewing Awards.
& are you bringing any special beer at the Mundial that we should try?
Yes, we have our Dwarf Sour Cherry, a mixed-ferment fruited sour with Dwarf Sour Cherries bred and grown in the prairies for this harsh climate. They are tart and sweet and impart an amazing deep ruby color. It won Best of Show at the Canadian Brewing Awards along with silver for Best in Show at the Canada Beer Cup.
24-2 Brett Stock Ale, a Brett stock ale which contains hyper-locally grown malt 5 km from our brewery all using horse-drawn equipment. This beer won Best of Show in 2022 for the Alberta Brewing Awards and we are all very proud of it.
What are the plans for the future?
We’re excited to be partnering with Dandy Brewing and grow both of our businesses in unique ways. We’re also excited to keep on having fun and pushing beer further in creative ways.
