Founded in 2016 in the heart of Lanaudière, Distillerie Grand Dérangement represents a bold new generation of Quebec distillers — visionary, locally rooted, and deeply committed to organic practices. 🌱

The journey began with an idea sparked by the nephew of Marcel Mailhot, a well-known organic farmer in the region. After months of research and experimentation, the dream took shape, leading to the launch of Lanaudière’s first certified organic distillery — and they’ve been shaking things up ever since.

🎯 Though it operates as a micro-distillery, Grand Dérangement boasts a surprisingly robust production capacity, combining artisanal precision with regional ambition. The distillery revives a long-dormant tradition in Lanaudière, once home to the legendary La Melchers distillery, which left its mark on over a century of local history. 🍾

Today, Grand Dérangement continues that legacy with a modern, sustainable twist — proudly Quebec-made, fiercely independent, and always pushing boundaries, one bottle at a time.
