Baron is at The Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) Annual Conference 2014 in Montréal. Is the first time for a OAA conference to take place outside Ontario. This year’s Conference will be exploring Heritage architecture.
Conference Theme:
Heritage Architecture Inspiration: understanding our past, building a better future
Culture is an important element of architecture. The architectural language we use is a reflection of the society in which we live. Likewise, architecture impacts culture; it is a relationship in which one reciprocally strengthens the other. We’ll look at architecture through the lens of heritage and culture; how heritage preservation and restoration affects urbanism, modernism, sustainability and business.
We’ll look at architecture today, as we create the heritage of tomorrow. We’ll consider how architecture works within our current society, how we shape it, protect it, embrace it and celebrate it! Join us in Montréal and get inspired. (source: oaa)
