I’m based in Bologna, Italy.
A word to define what kind of worker you are :
Workaholic.
What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, a Cintiq graphic tablet and a computer.
What does your office space look like?
It looks minimal and white coloured. Clean spaces helps me to keep my mind relaxed and productive.
What kind of music do you listen when you are working ?
I like electronic music, French touch, trip-hop. But more often I prefer to listen at movies or documentary films when I work, without watching them of course.
Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work ?
I do lists and schedule my activities, but that apart I don’t have an obsessive daily organization. I just try to do as much as I can and not to waste time.
What tips would you give to improve productivity ?
Surround yourself with all the things that you need to be comfortable and operative. Find a good balance between work and recreation.
Don’t be indulgent with yourself neither too much inflexible. Have a healthy lifestyle, do sports when you have time!
You’re better than your colleagues to :
Playing table football. And maybe I’m a bit above-average in the quantity of concepts I do for the same subject. This doesn’t mean they’re all good of course.
What is the best advice anyone has given you ?
As said by great illustrator and painter Adelchi Galloni, ex-teacher and friend of mine: work a lot but keep having pleasure in doing what you do. This job could be a prison if you take it without passion.
What is your best tip for saving time ?
Be concentrated and don’t spend too much time on social media! This is actually what I say to myself everyday.
What is your routine start and end of the day ?
I don’t have a particular routine. I just wake up and check what I have to do day by day.
Sometimes I work hard from 9AM to 11PM, some other times my day is quiet until a client calls for a rush job, then I have to hurry.
Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without?
Nothing in particular. I enjoy feeling lightweight.
