Nestled in northwest Italy, Piedmont is a region famed for its prestigious vineyards and culinary finesse — but its craft beer scene is quietly forging a bold identity. Here, tradition meets innovation, with brewers crafting refined lagers and pale ales that complement the region’s gastronomic sophistication.
Expect elegant beers boasting fresh hop aromas, balanced bitterness, and a clean, crisp finish — a perfect match for Piedmont’s celebrated cheeses and slow-cooked dishes. The signature Piemonte lager stands out: smooth, golden, and effortlessly drinkable, it pays homage to classic European styles while embracing modern craft sensibilities.
Piedmont’s brewers are pioneers in blending local ingredients with international techniques, creating beers that are as expressive and nuanced as the region’s famed wines. Whether sipping a hazy wheat ale or a hop-forward session IPA, the craft beer lover will find Piedmont a destination of quiet refinement and surprising depth.

Oro Birra | Corso Regina Margherita, 97, 10124 Torino
In the heart of Turin, Oro Birra shines as a beacon in the world of craft beer and fine dining.
Founded in 2010 as the city’s first independent pub, we quickly established ourselves not only as a go-to spot for beer lovers but also as a must-visit culinary destination.
Our commitment to excellence and passion for hospitality turn every visit into a unique experience.
DOT Birreria Indipendente | Via Sant’Ottavio, 34B, 10124 Torino
The brewery was born from our passion for craft beer and the thrill of new discoveries. That’s why they chose to be independent—to enjoy the freedom to discover new beers and share them with you! They have 12 taps rotate constantly: we never know when they’ll change, but that’s all part of the fun.
Doppio Malto Torino | Corso Mortara, 24, 10149 Torino TO
It all began at the Doppio Malto brewery in Erba, in the province of Como, where dozens of beer styles were born — earning over 100 awards worldwide over the years. Since 2020, production has moved to Sardinia, in the town of Iglesias, home to the new Doppio Malto brewery, with a production capacity of five million liters.
Birrificio San Michele | Via Terzo Reggimento Alpini, 10/A, 10057 Sant’Ambrogio di Torino TO
At Birrificio San Michele, the beers are shaped by the magic of the Susa Valley — alpine water, ancient village streets, and the presence of the Sacra di San Michele. Every bottle reflects care, quality, and a story of place and flavor. Next to the brewery, the restaurant offers traditional beer-inspired dishes and creative pairings, made with select, high-quality ingredients.
