Italian designer Federica Bubani designed a series of objects that consist of three main elements: a wooden box, a ceramic shade and a steel bar. Called Comby, the collection consists of objects all which incorporate wood, ceramic and metal to become a functional object and a visually interesting sculpture. In each one, the volume of wood is the same and the ceramic shades are also the same except with varying apertures. Article continues at design-milk.com
