Who are you :
Inga Semionov, 33 years old, founder of Iluce Concepts Lighting + Design. Born in Russia and travelled the world first with my family, then on my own. Always been fascinated with design and architecture and light, that usually ties it all together. In a creative world, most artists, photographers and designers will tell that light is the most important thing for their creations. I believe that in a right source of light, any space or object is astonishing. I opened my boutique to be able convey my passion to my clients, bring new designs and products to their homes and help them create their working or living space with true lighting functionality, ambiance and design.

In which city are you located?
My boutique is located in Montreal, Quebec; however, I work on projects across Canada and internationally. Looking forward to expanding in to European markets

What does your office space look like?
Open concept (no door), contemporary design with plenty of various lighting options,
What kind of music do you listening when you are working ?
Music types vary in the boutique. Sometimes we blast up house music or listen to local radio to catch up on popular tunes. However, majority of time it is jazz, lounge music.
Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work ?
I make a to do list for a day of priorities and task list for follow ups of ongoing projects
What tips would you give to improve productivity ?
Learn how to motivate yourself. My team tells me that they fill more motivated and productive when they see me motivated. And empower yourself and your team to make independent decisions. Empowerment = productivity

Believe in yourself and follow your passion and never stop challenging yourself
What is your best tip for saving time ?
Stay focused on a goal and tackle one thing at a time
What is your routine start and end of the day ?
My day always start by checking my emails before I even get out of bed, helps me to organize priorities for the day. Afternoons I spend in meetings with clients, so end of day is spend organizing for the next day.
Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go ?
I am not a gadget person but in this day and age it is impossible to live without them. I use an IPad and the tablets as well.
