Who are you :
My name is Yulia Drobova, I’m an illustrator and artist, residing in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. I work for advertising agencies and public organizations.

Your current job :
I mainly work as a freelance illustrator.

In which city are you located?
I live in Tashkent, Uzbekistan

A word to define what kind of worker you are :
I think I’m quite fast and well-organized.

What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..):
The tools I use everyday are my computer and my graphic tablet, I also love to work with colored pencils, colored paper, gouache and acrylic paints.

What does your office space look like?
It is a little cozy room, with wooden table, green walls and a big red lampshade. You can see it on photo.

What kind of music do you listen when you are working ?
I listen to different kinds of music everyday. During the last week there were a lot of reggae and dub in my playlist.

Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work ?
When I have many things to do, I create a to-do list. Step by step I strike out what has been done. It is also important to start at the morning and not to waste time surfing in the Internet.

What tips would you give to improve productivity ?
My best way to improve productivity is to forget about social medias and chat. When I don’t feel like working or there is no inspiration, I can go to walk, cook something or take a shower.

You’re better than your colleagues to :
I think everyone has weak and strong sides.

What is the best advice anyone has given you ?
I always remember the words of my teacher, she said: “Art and the truth of life are not the same things”

What is your best tip for saving time ?
Concentrate on what you’re doing.

What is your routine start and end of the day ?
My day starts with shower and breakfast, then I go to my work place and start working. In the evening I go to language courses, I’m currently learning German. The day when I don’t have courses I go jogging, at least I try to do it two times a week.
Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go : There is no such thing. I like to be without gadgets sometimes.
