I’m Santiago Uribe, a Visual Communication Design student at Universidad de la República in Uruguay.

I am currently a freelance designer focused on editorial design.

Agile

What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)
In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Pen and Paper.

What does your office space look like?
Neat. I have only the elemental on the desktop.

What kind of music do you listen when you are working ?
Today, Carlos Santana.

Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work ?
I’m pretty disorganized in that sense.

What tips would you give to improve productivity ?
Collaborate with other designers, is the best way to grow as a profecional.

You’re better than your colleagues to :
I am not better than anyone. We are all different and have our own style.

What is the best advice anyone has given you ?
“Read as much as you can. Listen as much as you can. Travel as much as you can. Meet as many people as you can. Just accumulates all these things for years and years, and when you think your head is almost full, then you start again. Because your head is very very empty. ” Erik Spiekermann

What is your best tip for saving time ?
Spend good time to the conceptualization and get enough sleep.

What is your routine start and end of the day ?
I have no real routine but I normally begin my day checking my emails and facebook notifications. At the end of day, I usually listen music or something like that.

Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go ?
I don’t have another gadget besides my computer and my smartphone.
