Who are you :
My name is Louise Odelberg and I’m a graphic designer from Sweden. I moved to Sydney in 2009 to study and are still living here working as a Designer at Toben.

In which city are you located?
Sydney, Australia

A word to define what kind of worker you are :
Diligent

What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)
Google maps, indesign, illustrator, photoshop and my bike if that counts.

What does your office space look like?
Lots of natural light and wooden floors.

What kind of music do you listen when you are working ?
I’m pretty easy, whatever music is playing out loud in the studio, unless it’s jazz then the headphones go on.

Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work ?
Nothing in particular, it depends on the task. I always try to keep up to date with the WIP to see whats most urgent every day.

What tips would you give to improve productivity ?
I like making list and organising my day in the calendar. Makes it easy to get an overview of what needs doing.
It also helps me to sketch down ideas first, before you start using the computer.

You’re better than your colleagues to :
I don’t consider myself any better than my colleagues at anything particular. We work together and our differences complement each other.

What is the best advice anyone has given you ?
Something along the lines of: Don’t sit around waiting for things to come your way: make it happen.

What is your best tip for saving time ?
Make lists and sketch your ideas first.

What is your routine start and end of the day ?
I like get up and do some exercise in the morning to wake me up. When I get to work a coffee is essential.
I also always check the WIP in the morning as well as last thing before I go home.

Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go ?
Nothing I can think of. There are lots of other things though, dark chocolate and coconuts are two of them.
