15 – 16 April 2015
Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, China
Following the success of the Media Facades Summit 2010, 2012, and 2014 in Frankfurt, and the Media Facades Summit 2013 in Hong Kong, the Media Architecture Institute wants to continue the event in 2015. But the format is new; we’re discussing and investigating issues beyond facades, concentrating on the role of media architecture as a key player in Smart and Ubiquitous City concepts.
As these ideas and concepts and the demand on media architecture in supporting these ideas and concepts alter from continent to continent, the Institute hosts this summit in Asia, partnering with the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). This two day event is a forum for discussions around the emergent issues and challenges of media architecture through top-creatives and leading experts in the field presenting different approaches to design and their most important projects. In addition to this, we offer one-day workshops addressing China-specific issues for designers, industry, government and academia. More information can be found shortly on the Media Architecture Institute’s website.
