Who are you:
I´m a graphic designer born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. I love art, architecture, music, films and everything that makes me feel alive. Passionate about the unknown but specially for those little things that subtly make life worthwhile.
Your current job:
I work as the Art Director of the Buenos Aires based, Bisman Publishing House and recently I’ve started working for the NYC based AS IF Magazine. I also work as a graphic design consultant.
In which city are you located?
I’ve lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina since 2008.
A word to define what kind of worker you are:
Curious.
What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc…)
I´m not the biggest fan of technology, so I think, my laptop, the Internet, a sharpened pencil and a good cooking set could be enough for me to live.
What does your office space look like?
Luminous, comfortable and challenging.
What kind of music do you listen when you are working?
I like listen music from around the world: Tango, Rock, Classics, Fado, Salsa, etc. but I rather listen melodies that cheer me up.
Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work?
Every day is totally different to each other, so I face my everyday journey without specific plans, thinking out the box and be open to follow new paths. By the way, I always have a B plan (supporting plan).
What tips would you give to improve productivity?
Avoid lack of humility. Prove yourself day after day. Perfectionism can destroy the good enough work. Inspiration exists, but it has to find you at work –Pablo Picasso- .
You’re better than your colleagues to:
I don’t feel that I am better than other colleagues, thinking that way could be arrogant, especially when arrogance in masked by false humility.
What is the best advice anyone has given you?
When someone says something interesting, I save it as a sweet morsel of advice.
What is your best tip for saving time ?
To not watch clocks.
What is your routine start and end of the day?
In the morning, I never leave my house before having a good and energizing breakfast. At the end of the day, I usually read a book or watch a movie to get relaxed.

My beloved camera.
