Bringing the festival to a close, Eastern Edge presents an exhibition and art auction! The public in invited to view and silently bid on artworks contributed by gallery members and created through the HOLD FAST Art Sprint.
A great chance to collect works by local artists and support the gallery!

HOLD FAST is a four-day celebration of contemporary art held each August in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. The festival is organized by Eastern Edge Gallery, the province’s first artist-run-centre.
Building on the energy of our previous festivals (formerly knows as 24 Hour Art Marathon and subsequently the Art Marathon Festival), HOLD FAST encompasses installation, performance, video screenings, artist talks, community events, and workshops for people of all ages.
By connecting artists and the public, Eastern Edge strives to maintain its commitment to supporting visual artists while increasing public awareness, understanding, and access to contemporary modes of expression.
The Festival runs from August 13th to 16th, 2015.
All HOLD FAST events are free and open to all.
