Who are you :

Aleksandra Kingo. Fashion and advertising photographer and set design enthusiast.

Your current job :

I am a freelancer, but since a couple of months ago I am represented by AWA / Angela Woods Agency, and it has been great so far. Doing shoot for a major TV channel next week, yay.

In which city are you located?

London, UK

A word to define what kind of worker you are :

What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)

All kinds of social media, really. And a bit of Photoshop.

What does your office space look like?

I work from home when not on set, and I have a lovely table by the window, overlooking Brick Lane. A bit of random props and print laying around, and a bunch of fresh flowers, always.

What kind of music do you listen when you are working ?

When shooting, I try to play something that makes me dance – Yelle, Caribou and David Bowie has been my recent favourites. When at home – Passion Pit, Kings of Convenience or some jazz.

Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work ?

When not shooting, I wake up and work early, and then play after. Works most of the time.

What tips would you give to improve productivity ?

Do not overthink anything at the early stage.

You’re better than your colleagues to :

Don’t have any colleagues, so I guess I can’t answer!

What is the best advice anyone has given you ?

Take your time to play and find out what you genuinely love. Then go all the way with it.

What is your best tip for saving time ?

Ask friends to help? (Oops)

What is your routine start and end of the day ?

Start: Check Instagram, make my boyfriend some tea, cuddle. Yes, in that order.

End: Go for a walk by the canal and the occasional glass of red.

Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without?

My camera, of course.
