My name is Chloe Hamblen. I’m a redhead with a love for lingerie, environmental design, martial arts and my dog Milo (aka the Little Chops).
Your current job :
I am the Founder and Creative Director of luxury lingerie brand Lascivious. I design high-end, provocative lingerie.

A word to define what kind of worker you are :
Optimistic
What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)
A tape measure, fabric scissors, my industrial lock stitch machine, my i-phone, my Macbook Air and Photoshop and Illustrator.
What does your office space look like?
A small space with dark wood and white gloss furniture, filled with mannequins, books and photos.
What kind of music do you listen when you are working ?
A mixture, whenever anyone new comes in we ask them to add to our playlist – it’s nice to have a variety. If I’m alone it will depend on what I’m doing and my mood, it could be anything from Portishead to The Pharcyde.
Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work ?
I have a to-do list next to my computer and always start the day with urgent emails, after that it will just depend on priorities and what comes up.
What tips would you give to improve productivity ?
Break things down into smaller chunks, write a list and work your way through it methodically. Set yourself tight deadlines, it’s a great motivator.
You’re better than your colleagues at:
I think I’m just different rather then better. I’m very lucky to have someone that works with me that is extremely proactive and dedicated – we reinforce each other.
What is the best advice anyone has given you ?
Be confident in your vision. You have to accept that you will always be the most passionate person about your business.
What is your best tip for saving time ?
Be decisive, and leave the internet alone.
What is your routine start and end of the day ?
I get up early, take the dog out and enjoy breakfast – it’s my favourite meal. At night I like to either go to kickboxing or tai chi, or smoke and pass out.
Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without?
I’m not really a gadget kind of a person, I always aspire to simplify things in my life as much as possible, I generally try to avoid technology.
