A word to define what kind of worker you are:

24 hours, 7days a week, no holidays, photographer

What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..):

 Photoshop, Mac OS X

What does your office space look like?

Well, shootings are often done in a rented studio, but my little office is the heart of my job, good for editorial work and the whole post-production, all kind of technical stuff around me and also my newest pictures and a cup of hot coffee.

What kind of music do you listen when you are working?

Depends on the job: Brian Eno or Dire Straits, sometimes techno music, sometimes Al Stewart year of the cat….later the day Cet Baker, Ronny Jordan, Tosca, the green man.

Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work?

yes, make a plan for the day.

What tips would you give to improve productivity?

Thats not easy because a good photo idea does not come when you want it… so I take a break and run through the park or a ride on the mountain with my bike… fresh air follows fresh ideas

You’re better than your colleagues to:

Not really, there are a lot of good colleagues.

What is the best advice anyone has given you?

Photographers don’t need a computer, it’s an evil machine used by the graphic guys ( my high school photo teacher, twenty years ago)

What is your best tip for saving time?

Hm, no tip…you have time. When the telephone rings, you have no time anymore…

What is your routine start and end of the day?

start with a strong hot coffee and ends with a glass of red vine.

Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without?

only my cameras
