Wellington Brewery to Release Limited Edition Welly Cask Fest Bottles

Wellington Brewery to Release Limited Edition Welly Cask Fest Bottles

Published by BARONMAG

As part of Wellington Brewery’s annual Welly Cask Fest happening this weekend the brewery has announced the release of 4 limited edition bottles including 2 collaborations:

Vantablack – Black Lager (4.8%)
This dark traditional German style lager has roasted malt notes with suggestions of coffee and bitter chocolate, a surprisingly mild body, and a clean, dry finish.

The Big DIPA – Imperial IPA (9.2%)
This huge double IPA is bursting with vibrant hop notes of pine, citrus, and stone fruit. Clocking in at 9.2% ABV, this hop bomb is dangerously smooth for the punch it packs!

Prickly When Poked – Prickly Pear Saison (5.2%)

Wellington x Cameron’s Brewing

Brewed as a collaboration with our pals at Cameron’s brewing, this refreshing saison is brewed with loads of prickly pear adding a sweet and slightly tart fruit note to this unique saison.

Guelph Trappist Hunks – Trappist Style Ale (7.6%)

Wellington x Royal City x Escarpment Labs x Brothers x Stonehammer
The Guelph brew crew joined forces to create this one-of-a-kind Trappist inspired ale. This enticing ale has Belgian yeast notes and a balanced sweetness from the addition of local honey and lego candy in place of candi sugar. Yes, lego candy.

All of these small-batch beers are carbonated versions of brands that will be available on cask during the event. Each bottle will be wrapped in custom Welly Cask Fest wrapping paper and available while supplies last.

Vantablack and Prickly When Poked will be $7.95 per bottle
The Big DIPA and Guelph Trappist Hunks will be $9.95 per bottle

The bottles will go on sale Saturday September 9th at Noon exclusively at the Wellington Brewery retail store in Guelph.

Wellington Brewery has also announced the full cask lineup for Welly Cask Fest happening this weekend (September 9th & 10th) at the brewery. A limited number of tickets are still available for Welly Cask Fest.
