Who are you and your current job :
Lei Li Keenan, co-owner, and manager of Puscifer the Store. Our store is an extension of the band Puscifer, which is also a brand and indie record label, so keeping with the indie vibe and realizing there were no record stores within about 200 miles of us we decided we should be the ones to open one.

We cover all genres but are exceptionally proud of our obscure selections
Can you give a small tour of the music scene in your town?
Pretty non-existent. Our ukulele orchestra is a big deal if that tells you anything
What’s it like working in a record shop?
It’s been a life-long dream to work in a music shop much less own one! My day revolves around my favorite hobby, listening to music, and I love meeting people with the same passion
What mind-blowing album are you listing right now? (and why?)
Itchy-o, From the Overflowing. It’s like nothing I’ve ever heard! Puscifer (always)
What does it take for an indie record shop to survive?
Patience and persistence of getting the word out.
What does Record Store Day, mean to you and your business? (why?) It’s such a great platform for us independent shops to be the shining stars of the day. Independent and local go hand-in-hand so it really celebrates community
