Victoria, British Columbia
The capital of British Columbia, Victoria is located on beautiful Vancouver Island and offers the feel of old England, complete with afternoon tea. Tofino, British Columbia

Fogo Island, Newfoundland
Escape to what feels like a whole new world off the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador with a trip to Fogo Island. This incredibly remote island is located in Iceberg Alley, which means if you arrive in May or June, and sometimes into July or even beyond, you’re likely to spot a number of icebergs floating off the shore. A destination in itself, it’s attracted quite a few celebrities with its unique, contemporary design, exceptional service and rooms that all have floor-to-ceiling windows for taking in the stunning water, iceberg and whale views.
Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia
If taking one of the world’s most scenic drives isn’t romantic, we don’t know what is. Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia offers the chance to experience what’s often rated as one of the most stunning drives on Earth, the Cabot Trail. You can also look forward to lobster feasts, traditional Celtic music, beautiful beaches and countless charming B&Bs. Be sure to bring your binoculars, especially in the summer as this is one of the top places to see humpback and other whales.
Quebec City, Quebec
Quebec City offers an experience similar to Paris, as a slice of France right in Canada. It comes complete with outstanding bakeries and restaurants that serve French and all types of international fare, cobblestone streets and magnificent historic architecture. Old Quebec is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that’s especially romantic, home to the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac hotel, which dominates the city skyline as one of the most photographed hotels in the world.
