The GRANDE Print Art Fair brings together more than 50 artists and organizations selling posters and printed art in the context of the Montreal Printed Arts Festival. Silkscreen prints, posters, letterpress, engravings, every form and every new trend in printed art will be on display! It’s your only chance each year to discover the incredible talent present in Montreal’s printed art scene and to purchase some of the best art prints around!

Organized by ARCMTL, the people behind the Expozine small press fair and Volume MTL art book fair, Grande allows the public to not only discover the amazing art being produced here but to meet and mingle with artists themselves at their table, and find out about the many collectives and organizations that serve the local printed art milieu. Consult the list of exhibitors here, and see some of what will be on sale and on display at the Grande.

This year, the GRANDE Print Art Fair takes place in the HQ of the Montreal Printed Arts Festival, right in the heart of St-Laurent Boulevard at the WIP (Work In Progress). Exhibits, workshops, presentations of printed art that integrates augmented reality and an evening of Pecha Kucha presentations will take place alongside the Grande. The full programme of activities for the Montreal Printed Arts Festival is available on its website or on Facebook.

Of note are two presentations taking place the day before Grande at the WIP, on Friday April 12, 2 p.m., featuring several Grande exhibitors! The first is a presentation about our Print Augmented project, exploring the potential for integrating augmented reality technology into art prints:

And a group Pecha Kucha style evening of presentations taking place at the WIP at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 12:

The Montreal Printed Arts Festival is organized by ARCMTL, Atelier Circulaire and Zocalo and made possible in part thanks to the support of the Canada Council for the Arts and the Conseil des Arts de Montréal.
See you at the Grande!
