While you may be tempted to play mr. bet new games, traveling to these places in Canada sounds exciting. For any traveler in Canada or outside, here are ten places that you want to see for all kinds of reasons.
Vancouver
The capital of British Columbia, Vancouver is a hub for progress and abundance. Forget about going to a casino on line. This is a place to be. Its overall climate ensures residents can enjoy outside all year-round. You can enjoy activities such as:
- Sunbathing at several beaches.
- Visit several unique and fabulous shops.
- Stroll through several parks with towering trees.
- Experience fine dining or a casual meal.
Niagara Falls
Sometimes known as “the reversing falls” this Ontario gem is a natural and popular attraction. These falls are housed in a town called Niagara Falls so it’s hard to miss. But thanks to these falls, the city has grown considerably and there are plenty of attractions in town as well. It’s well worth being there for a day or two.
Toronto
Canada’s largest city and not far from Niagara Falls, this is a cultural hot spot. Toronto boasts a number of attractions you don’t want to pass up:
- Beautiful beaches,
- Fine dining,
- Opera, ballet, symphony, and broadway shows,
- Stunning museums.

Montreal
Montreal has an incredible and historic district dating back to the 1600s. Montreal also houses Old Montreal – the main hub for tourists. It has cobbled streets, horse-drawn carriage rides and more.
St. John’s
On the east coast of Newfoundland and Labrador rests the historic city of St. John’s. This colorful and friendly city houses great views, several historic sites and attractions, and amazing maritime food.
Halifax
Another east coast gem, Halifax is the capital of Nova Scotia and is a great introduction to what the Maritimes is all about. The main spot to be is by the waterfront which houses several attractions, shops and more.
Québec City
Similar to Montreal, Québec City is filled with many historic goodies. While you’ll encounter more French speakers here, there are many reasons to stay and experience the town. For one it’s smaller than Montreal, making it easier to navigate.
Whitehorse
Visiting the northern regions of Canada are a treat as well. One such place is Whitehorse which has the Nahanni National Park. Not to mention you get to experience the northern lights.
Whistler
Known for its world-class skiing, this is the place where the 2010 Winter Olympics was hosted. Even if you’re not a fan of skiing, this is great for hiking, shopping and more.
Charlottetown
The capital of Prince Edward Island, this small island has many gems scattered throughout the island. Best of all you can experience all of them within a day. Some must-see are the PEI National Park which houses Anne of Green Gables home.

Each province has their own treats to check out and soak up, so there are plenty of reasons to experience each province and all of Canada. You won’t be disappointed no matter where you decide to go.
