BrewDog opens the first world alcohol-free bar in London

BrewDog opens the first world alcohol-free bar in London

Published by Press release

As befits a new decade, we are starting 2020 with a celebration. A celebration of alcohol-free.

This coming Monday in central London we are unveiling our brand new take on AF – the world’s first alcohol-free beer bar, BrewDog AF Bar. A pilot location that embraces a new way of enjoying craft beer and spirits. Everything on offer inside the bar will be alcohol-free. The BrewDog AF Bar opens at 12 pm on Monday 6th January.

And to celebrate, wherever you are, we are launching ‘Drink All You Can Jan’; free refills of any BrewDog Alcohol-Free beer in every UK BrewDog Bar (plus a number of our international locations) throughout January. Our alternative to Dry-January will give drinkers the chance to try our range of BrewDog AF beers in any of our bars with unlimited refills that day.

Craft beer is a point of difference, and we have long believed in its power to banish the status quo that alcohol-free has somehow become synonymous with taste-free. We also believe in inclusivity – and the BrewDog AF Bar is here to be that difference-maker to those who are looking for an alternative to call their own.

The BrewDog AF Bar is located just behind Old Street roundabout in the Bower Development at 211 Old Street, EC1V 9NR. The world’s first alcohol-free beer bar is thirty seconds from the tube and right at the confluence of Hoxton, Clerkenwell, Spitalfields, and Hackney.

It will be pouring from 15 taps of alcohol-free craft beer, and to celebrate its launch will be debuting two brand new BrewDog AF beers, Wake Up Call and Hazy AF. The first of these is your new all-day blend – a 0.5% coffee stout that is full-flavored and roast with hints of chocolate and coffee.

The second needs no introduction – Hazy AF is an east coast alcohol-free IPA destined to be the juiciest AF beer in town. In addition, the bar will also offer a changing selection of alcohol-free spirits and cider including the new Designated Cider from Hawkes Cidery.

The BrewDog AF Bar will be serving up our legendary menu of burgers and wings, alongside a series of healthy specials – and will also be opening early for brunch. We’ll have Ellon-roasted BrewDog espresso coffee on offer as well as AF beer to take away from our fridges.

Our latest bar is unique and ready to go at 12 pm on Monday 6th January, and will then be open 12 pm-11 pm Sunday to Thursday and 12 pm-11:30 pm Friday and Saturday.

You can follow BrewDog AF on social media over at Twitter and Instagram, and don’t forget that whether you are in London or not, if you are seeking an AF alternative in January, every BrewDog Bar is pouring free refills of BrewDog AF throughout this month.

See you soon, London!
