BERLIN DESIGN WEEK 2020 – Cancellation due to Corona

Due to the increasing spread of the coronavirus Covid-19 and unforeseeable development of the crisis, BNDNWK 2020, scheduled for 30 April to 10 May, has been cancelled. This was decided by BNDNWK’s team last week. While initially, only the larger BNDNWK events were to be postponed, the attendance of not only international but also domestic and even local participants has become increasingly unplannable. More importantly, participants, visitors, partners, all contributors to BNDNWK should not be exposed to unnecessary risks, in an effort to help slow down the spreading of the virus.

There will be no alternative date in 2020. Instead, the team behind BNDNWK will focus this year on expanding the format in order to start in 2021 with an even more extensive BERLIN DESIGN WEEK in spring.

BNDNWK’s strategic partner, iF Design, has also cancelled its award ceremony on May 4 and the associated exhibition at BNDNWK.
