Homebrewing & Industry 2021: 52 craft beer recipes from brewers

52 recipes from brewers in Canada, the U.S.A., France, the U.K., Spain, Switzerland, and Iceland. Taken from our 3 latest issues in French (Recettes de Bières et Industrie). The artwork cover is from Marc-André Filion from Messorem Bracitorium Brewery in Montréal. We have also interviewed 16 breweries and associations (from Canada, the U.S.A., and Ireland) about their challenges in 2021.

The Speakers

Charlotte Cook | Coalition Brewing
Charlotte is a brewer with a decade of experience in the craft brewing world, working at breweries as diverse and Pohala, Truman’s, BrewDog and Cloudwater. Today she is head brewer at Coalition Brewing in South London, and very happy to be back in the nitty gritty of brewing.
In addition to this Charlotte has also been studying for a MSc. in Brewing Science at The University of Nottingham, with a dissertation specialising in the sustainability of modern hopping regimes and usage. Charlotte is also passionate about equality in the brewing industry, talking about issues on BBC Woman’s Hour and The Food Programme, as well as numerous publications and podcasts.

Jez Galaun |  Brixton Brewery
Jez Galaun is co-founder and managing director of Brixton Brewery. He thinks of Brixton Brewery as a love letter to the electric, eclectic neighbourhood of Brixton, and is continuously inspired by its spirit of openness, energetic enjoyment of life and vibrant street life. Jez is hugely proud of the brewery and its partnership with Heineken and is passionate and committed to getting our beers further out of South London so people everywhere can get a taste of Brixton.

Sebastian Nielsen | Brook House Hops
Sebastian used to work in Enterprise Software and has had a variety of sales and business development roles in the last 10 years. It only took a few visits to Brook House Farm during the 2018 harvest to convince him that a move into the world of hops was exactly what he was looking for. As a keen homebrewer and beer drinker, Sebastian says he has found a business and industry he can truly feel passionate about. He is now responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing for our business but what he enjoys the most is meeting brewers and sharing his passion for hops. When he is not in the farm office, you will find him driving across the country from brewery to brewery and beer festival to beer festival. Seb’s favourite hop is Fuggle because of the beautiful and intense flavour it imparts to stouts and porters.
