The company considers Canada and the USA as key directions for development. Thus, territories are regarded for a long-term presence. That is why cooperation with such a giant will help promote Yggdrasil’s interest in North America. IGT is known to gamblers as a TOP developer of high-quality software. From this deal, it will receive exclusive territorial rights to distribute a select number of the most popular and top-rated games. Note that according to the deal, the first Yggdrasil slot should appear on North America’s market in December this year.

Expansion in North America
Called a “landmark deal”, the agreement marks the entry of a Malta-headquartered developer into the fast-growing North American market as more states regulate online gambling. Recall that gambling is currently legal in the following states of the USA:

– Delaware,
– West Virginia,
– New Jersey.
The deal with IGT follows a multi-year PlaySports technology and services agreement with The Stadium LLC, under which PlaySports technology and trading advisory services will become the backbone of all future online bookmakers. The Latin American firm is owned and operated by The Stadium LLC.
This deal is promised to be beneficial for both sides. Yggdrasil is waiting to enter a new market and expand its territories of presence.
