Published by Leonardo Calcagno

According to the site of the Énergie 92.1 radio station in Drummondville, Le BockAle brewery has made significant layoffs and the staff will be reduced “to a minimum”, according to President and CEO Michael Jean.

The brewery was founded in 2015 and merged in 2021 with the company Duvernois Esprits Créatifs, known for its romeo’s gin and Pur Vodka products. Construction of the plant has been put on hold due to supply chain challenges and rising costs.

Le BockAle will continue its activities with the help of external suppliers. He will develop new products and implement other marketing strategies.

In January, Le Bockale announced the closure of its pub in Drummondville.
