A word to define what kind of worker you are :

Obsessive or Never-not-working

What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)

Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign, Fontlab Studio, any font management software like Suitcase Fusion, and daily use of Instagram and some pencils and paper, lots of paper!

What does your office space look like?

It depends on the time of the week and the amount of work, but when working of on Sundays it usually looks like a real mess.

What kind of music do you listen when you are working?

Mostly electronic stuff like IDM and slow beats, but also house, funky, disco and more classic stuff.

Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work ?

I try to keep lists of everything, from post-its to sheets of paper and all kind of google docs and sheets. Also some calendar and note apps like Mac Calendar and Wunderlist. No matter how much of them I use I keep forgetting things, but I’m lucky to have a great girlfriend and also studio partner that helps me out with everything.

What tips would you give to improve productivity ?

Get away from the computer whenever you can, keep organized list of everything, write down the project needs, don’t overthink too much (like me) and make mind maps and sketches for living, from work schedules to shopping lists or anything you should have in mind.

You’re better than your colleagues to :

Wasting time in not so important projects

What is the best advice anyone has given you ?

Don’t get stuck in any task when working, you can always do something else and get back to it with your mind refreshed.

What is your best tip for saving time ?

I’m still looking for a way to save time and have a life

What is your routine start and end of the day ?

Wake up – Coffee – Emails – Coffee – Work – Eat – Work – Eat – Work – Go to sleep late

Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without?

I’m not much a gadget guy, but I’ve bought recently a tablet and find it very useful for client presentations, watching chapters in bed and bathroom reads.
