In which city are you located? Originally from Essex, England, I now live in Calgary, Canada.

A word to define what kind of worker you are : Determined. 

What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..): Mop brushes are a MUST for my paintings, since I paint by blocking in colors and blending. A mop brush is essential for making sure I can blend smoothly.

What does your office space look like? Small and full of light. It’s playful and colourful, and usually smells of oil paints and coffee. 

What kind of music do you listen to when you are working ? I never have a constant go-to soundtrack. My music taste is all over the place; Ella Fitzgerald to Adele to Anti Flag to Gershwin to Mark Ronson. See what I mean? Eclectic. 

Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work ? I’m a big believer in to-do lists. I also like to prioritize, and get little things done first so that I have the rest of the day to completely focus on my bigger projects. 

What tips would you give to improve productivity ? Make to-do lists, prioritize, and biggest of all….SET GOALS. Little or big, goals are imperative. 

You’re better than your colleagues to : Not sure. Everyone brings different things to the table, and I like that. 

What is the best advice anyone has given you ? Do what makes you happy.

What is your best tip for saving time ? Do it well the first time. 

What is your routine start and end of the day ? My work day is 9am-5pm. In this time I work in the studio either painting, or working on my laptop taking care of the business and marketing side of being an artist. 

Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without? Coffee maker.
