Who are you :
I am Tyler Dale.
I create art, I’m a graphic illustrator and I’m a grilled cheese connoisseur.

Your current job :
I am currently a freelance illustrator working with other creatives and design agencies all over the freaking place.

In which city are you located?
I’m from Vancouver, We have a gnarly view of the mountains and of the ocean, as well as plenty of cats and dogs are here to get inspired by.

A word to define what kind of worker you are ?

What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)
I sketch, paint and use adobe illustrator to develop work. Most essential tool would be the overpriced macs.

What does your office space look like?
I do most of my work on my macbook pro at my desk, On the surface it is organized but underneath its pretty messy.

What kind of music do you listen to when you are working ?
I grew up listening to hip hop and ambient music, however I enjoy other genres.

Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work ?
Not really, everyday is different depending on the project. I like to just go with the flow of the day.

What tips would you give to improve productivity ?
Organize files and collaborate with other artists!

You’re better than your colleagues to :
I am not better than anyone, we are all equal. Everyone has their own crafts and styles, we can all bring something unique to the table.

What is the best advice anyone has given you ?
Instead of calling it work, realize it is play.

What is your best tip for saving time ?
Constant communication with a client to manage expectations.

What is your routine start and end of the day ?
I have no real routine but I normally begin my day checking my emails and end it working on a project.

Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without ?
A pen and a grilled cheese sandwich of course.
