Who are you :
I am Juan Pablo González Cabrera. Founder of COLORSENS, Multimedia & Advertising Agency.
Your current job:
I work at COLORSENS, being the Brand manager and the director of all the projects we face. Also, I work as a teacher at Universidad de Palermo.
I work with my friends, Litus (Colombia), Yamila (Ecuador) and Sophie (Brazilian, also my girlfriend).
In which city are you located?
The studio is in Buenos Aires, Argentina. But we work with customers from around the world.
A word to define what kind of worker you are :
Inspiration.
What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)
My computer, a pencil and paper, youtube.com, adobe premiere, photoshop, illustrator, internet, a pocket camera (lighter better) and I know that it isn’t a tool but without “mate” I can’t work! ( Mate is a traditional South American caffeine-rich infused drink, also know as yerba mate)
What does your office space look like?
I am going through a minimalist stage, so I decided to decorate the studio to make it look clean, industrial, modern and organic. It has a couple of Scandinavian design furniture and the famous Charles Eames and Robin Day chairs. We have a large table where everyone can have their own work area. The interesting thing about the studio is that everything is disassembled, then if we have any video or photo shooting, we disassemble the furniture and we have a very large space. We have everything we need: a kitchen with a great coffee machine, make up & hair space, dressing room and a lovely street landscape.
What kind of music do you listen when you are working ?
I am not those who listen to music when I work, I like to enjoy the music and when I know the song I start to sing it and my mind goes everywhere. In the case I feel that I can work and listen to music I’ll probably go to www.stereomood.com, choose a mood and gives me the music that I need. It is amazing because I am always discovering new bands and sounds, it is really dinamic. (Im a Shakira fan)
Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work ?
No, I haven`t!
What tips would you give to improve productivity ?
Never stop believing in yourself. Never give up. DO AS MUCH AS YOU CAN AND MORE! MAKE IT WORTH! I don’t know, live the life, watch other lifestyles, be involve in love. Then, the result will be inspiration.
You’re better than your colleagues to :
Nothing. We all are different and have different dreams.
What is the best advice anyone has given you ?
Learn the rules, break them and make mistakes.
What is your best tip for saving time ?
Do what you love, be motivated.
What is your routine start and end of the day ?
I don’t have one. It’s difficult.
Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without?
Could be the “mate”?
