Reluctantly diligent.

What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)
Mechanical pencil, eraser, photoshop, illustrator, google.

What does your office space look like?
Pretty simple, it contains a drafting table for drawing/painting, a computer, a few desks and a shelf with scanner and printer. And a bunch of metal lockers for junk. And a lot of guitars.

What kind of music do you listen when you are working ?
Classical, when the deadline is comfortable, Speed Metal if it’s tight.

Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work ?
Not really, I just start in the morning and stop when I’m done. I do forget to eat rather often though, so that’s quite the time saver.

What tips would you give to improve productivity ?
Get off the internet for five minutes!

You’re better than your colleagues to :
To try not to compare myself too much to my colleagues.

What is the best advice anyone has given you ?
“Do a lot of work”, by my teacher in art school. Good stuff will happen eventually. It is entirely unavoidable if you’re putting in a lot of work.

What is your best tip for saving time ?
Having put in a lot of work from the start. That way you will know by experience how to avoid the things that cost a lot of time. Avoidable mistakes, unnecessary technical detours, the finding of the right concepts without too much thinking in the wrong directions…

What is your routine start and end of the day ?
A cup of coffee to start, a glass of white wine at the end.

Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without?
My trusty coffee maker.
