Toronto is a city that boasts about its multiculturalism. You can find anything and anyone here from any corner of the globe. But it seems that the entire Scandinavian and Nordic region has been ignoring Toronto, and I’m not talking about H&M and IKEA. So, what’s a Scandophile like me to do without booking a flight to the cold, reserved cities of Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm? With some digging, it is actually possible to find Scandinavian goods here in Toronto. Hopefully this list will tide you over until your next (or first) visit to the land of welfare, winter and wienerbrød.
