David Kaarsemaker presents Display Case, an exhibition of new paintings which examine the anatomy of public space from the interior space of a boardroom or hotel lobby to the display cabinets and exhibits of the museum.
David Kaarsemaker was born in Chicago, spent a great part of his youth in Burkina Faso, he has resided in Western Canada and Eastern Canada, including Newfoundland and Labrador for many years. He was accepted into the masters program at the University of Ottawa where in 2014 he earned his Masters of Fine Art. Currently he teaches drawing at Algonquin College.
