For the 2015 festival, Eastern Edge is launching a brand new event: The ART SPRINT, a seven-hour marathon that will feature artists of all ages, levels of experience and backgrounds, as they participate in seven lively art challenges.
The ART SPRINT will take place in the Gateacre Garage and will lead into the HOLD FAST ART CRAWL.
VIEWERS CHOICE AWARD
During ART SPRINT, viewers can/are encouraged to cheer on participating artists and also cast a vote for their favourite artist.
EASTERN EDGE AWARD
One participating artist will be chosen to receive an exhibition in the Eastern Edge Rogue Gallery.
EXHIBITION & AUCTION
Artworks made during the ART SPRINT, as well as submissions from members of the Eastern Edge Gallery and the public, will be displayed at the HOLD FAST Exhibition and Auction on Sunday August 16th.
