Who are you: I keep asking myself for the same everyday.

Your current job:I’m full-time freelance illustrator working worldwide for biggest well known brands and advertising agencies.

In which city are you located? Mainly in Saint Petersburg, Russia. But I’m traveling a lot since I can work everywhere. Still I keep coming back to that city because it is one of the most beautiful in Russia and I love my country, sad people whom I can try to inspire for better living and the nature…

A word to define what kind of worker you are: I asked my wife and she said “Hard worker” but still I feel I’m the “lazy” one. What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..) Essential tool for my life is my yoga mat. And not to my life, but to work it is Photoshop, Wacom Intuos Tablet, notebook and pen.

What does your office space look like? It changes pretty often. In my rented flat in Saint Petersburg I work at the kitchen table. When I visit my sister in Moscow I work sitting on the floor without any chair near small table usually. And I can work like this at any airports, cafes and so on.

What kind of music do you listen when you are working? I prefer silence. But when I need something to shut my ears I listen to yoga lectures from my master or something calm and positive like reggae or some light electronic music.

Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work? I am always, everyday, starting with yoga. Even if I have really urgent project first I do yoga. This is like to take a bath 2 times a day. This is taking a bath for your mind. This helps me to stay focused, active yet relaxed during the whole workday.

What tips would you give to improve productivity? Spent time walking outside, do some physical activity, great to do yoga because it benefits both body and mind and even much more actually. Learn how to live this life in harmony, learn about yourself and you will understand others.

You’re better than your colleagues to: earn money doing nothing

What is the best advice anyone has given you? Do not afraid to copy everything you like from other artists. This will made you understand it and develop your own.

What is your best tip for saving time? Improve the capacity of energy inside and you can do more at the same time. Meditation can give you a lot of energy.

What is your routine start and end of the day? Bath in the morning and evening. If you mean the workday routine then it has no routine I think. It can be started from answering to clients emails or from drawing sketches or from watching inspiring illustrations and photos at Behance or from adding corrections to current project etc.

Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without? Stylus :)
