Bandit Brewery is a small 10bbl microbrewery located in the heart of Roncesvalles. We are a group of passionate beer heads who don’t take ourselves too seriously and we focus on making great beer we’d like to drink ourselves. Our goal is to create an open and relaxed space where people can get together and enjoy themselves.
The microbrewery has grown from the dream of best pals and co-founders, Stephane Dubois and Shehzad Hamza, to a full-fledged brewpub and bottle shop that has become a favorite in Toronto’s craft brewery scene.

“When we first opened in May of 2016, we never anticipated the whirlwind of gifts that our first year would bring. Our community has embraced us and we’ve met great friends along the way, so the logical thing to do to show our gratitude is to throw a great party,” said Hamza when asked about the upcoming festivities.
As we look back to our initial year, we remember the first familiar faces that walked through our garage doors, our early limited beer line-up, the opening of our now legendary patio, and our notorious Oktoberfest celebration with 100 patrons “prosting” as they stood tall on our picnic table benches. “The memories we have of our first year are tremendously rewarding and only makes us want to keep creating more special moments for our Bandit friends and family,” Dubois adds.
On Saturday, May 6, #BanditTurnsOne will transform the brewery into a West Coast BBQ, with live performances by Toronto’s very own Little Lotus. We’ll be introducing a brand new beer, Hazed and Infused (a peach-infused Vermont style pale ale), crafted by our staff under supervision of our brewery team. Our chef will be serving BBQ straight from our patio throughout the evening.
#BanditTurnsOne will kick-off at 5 pm and no tickets are required to attend.
Best part: raccoon cake for all!
