Your current job:

A brand identity freelancer

In which city are you located?

Ho Chi Minh City

A word to define what kind of worker you are:

What tools are essential to your life (app, software, etc..)

Definitely my PC with Adobe products, and my note + pencil

What does your office space look like?

Most of the time, it’s bright and clean (totally different when I have a party). I like to work in a minimal environment. I just want my essential things on the table, no more, no less. As a brand identity designer, I try to organize a neutral workspace. That way I can focus on the “feel” I need to give in for every branding project. I live in a high-rise apartment so it’s very quiet, which is just right for my taste.

What kind of music do you listen when you are working?

I don’t listen to music at all while working. I think music distracts me from my idea. Every branding project is different from one another so It’s best that I maintain my neutral mood.

Do you have a way to organize your day to maximize your work?

It’s simple for me. Every day, I seek inspiration in the morning, relax in the afternoon and sketch at late night.

What tips would you give to improve productivity?

Organizing the balance between working and relaxing works great for me. While relaxing, I can sometimes burst out creative ideas. So it’s like, working while relaxing, which is super effective.

You’re better than your colleagues to:

What is the best advice anyone has given you?

see more, work less

What is your best tip for saving time?

have a clear schedule and try your best to follow it

What is your routine start and end of the day?

I start the day by eating fruits, many kinds of fruits. It provides me the positive energy I need for the morning of inspirations. And at the end of the day, I often have a glass of milk to calm my mind down.

Aside from your computer and your phone, what gadget can you not you go without?

My watch, I’m really punctual.
