We are a Kombucha producer based in the North of England. We have been operating for nearly six years now.
Your current job:
To provide Kombucha to the European and World market.
In which city:
Hebden Bridge, between Manchester and Leeds in England.
How did you discover kombucha?
We discovered Kombucha when traveling to Thailand many years ago and decided to begin a business here in the UK upon our return.
What prompted you to start your company?
We began providing Kombucha via market stalls in our local area and the response was so positive we decided to move ahead with the creation of a company.
What makes your product unique?
We think we have a very lovely tasting Kombucha.
What do you want to convey through your brand image?
A sense of fun and a connection to nature as Kombucha is a traditional beverage.
What are the main challenges in your company?
Educating people about the benefits and wonders of Kombucha.
What tools are essential for your work(app, software)?
Our email account is probably the most critical.
A word to define what type of worker you are:
We are hard working and level headed.
What does your office space look like?
Tidy with some post-it notes dotted about and lots of things written on whiteboards about our plans.
Do you have a way to organize your days to optimise your work?
We have regular staff meetings and discussions so everyone is on the same page.
What tips would you give to improve productivity?
Write out your goals, then write out how to achieve them. If you don’t know something don’t be scared to ask.
What is the best advice you have been given?
Always do what you say you are going to do when you say you are going to do it.
What are your end-of-day and early-day routine?
Pour a Kombucha and drink at the beginning and end of every day!
Apart from your computer and your phone, what gadget cannot you do without?
Upcoming products or projects?
We are always looking for ways to expand our production and improve our product so there are always projects ongoing. We hope to launch some new flavors soon.
